The L’Associazione Promotori Musei del Mare e della Navigazione, with the support of the Liguria region, of the Province and Council of Genoa have been organizing since 2005 the Promotori Award aiming at giving value a person or a company from the shipping world that in the last twelve months has been standing out for his/her/its commitment, work and the cultural interest, translating their passion into excellence.

An award supported by the Regione Liguria and the Council of Genoa dedicated to those who best represnt the Association’s values.
Among the personalities awarded::
Felicio Angrisano, who managed and co-ordinated relevant and complex rescue operations at sea, focusing on the key humanitarian features, becoming a sure reference for both institutions and private companies
For his work on safety on board and special attention to the marine environment
Special mention for his dedication to the shipping sector
For showing a technologically innovative approach in the competitive shipbuilding market
For his innovative project in a global context, combining the variety of routes, on-board and on-shore hospitality and service quality with a promotion of the Made in Italy concept
For conceiving and realizing a project uniting a vision of the maritime heritage and respect to the environment, in a context of sustainable development
Special mention for his lifelong dedication to the sea environment
who succeeded in giving a strong impulse to the Genoese shipping in a difficult market and conditions
For his commitment in promoting sailing at international level as a tool for knowledge and integration, especially among young athletes.
The Association aims at to maintain and promote the heritage and the exhibits kept at the Galata Museo del Mare, at the Naval Museum of Pegli and at the Commenda di San Giovanni di Prè.
We are a no-profit organization made of several companies from the Genoese shipping business. Our association is inspired by the anglo-saxon cultural foundations.
